PESHAWAR: Several employees have been promoted following the approval of the Promotion Board, providing a welcome development ahead of the upcoming budget announcement.
According to an official notification, employees of the Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) have been promoted to Grade 14 after the company’s Promotion Board approved their advancement.
Management stated that everything was handled fairly, in accordance with the established policies.
These promoted folks were told to jump right into their new roles to give the department a much-needed performance boost and keep things running smoothly.
They also added that how long folks have been there and the rules around service will stay the same for everyone. For now, the orders are provisional; pending checks of education, training stuff, and more required documents.
The officials hoped the newly promoted staff would get going in their new spots quickly. This move rounds up the latest round of advancements at the company.
Several senior bureaucrats reshuffled in KP
Meanwhile, the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Wednesday reshuffled several senior bureaucrats across the province.
According to the official notifications, Muhammad Hafeez (PMS BS-17), who was serving as Section Officer at the Climate Change, Forestry, Environment and Wildlife Department, has been transferred and posted as Section Officer at the Sports and Youth Affairs Department in Peshawar. He replaces Muhammad Khalid (Superintendent BS-17), Section Officer at the Sports and Youth Affairs Department, who has now been transferred to the Climate Change, Forestry, Environment and Wildlife Department as Section Officer in his own pay and scale.
Similarly, Hafeez Ur Rehman Shah (PMS BS-17), Section Officer at the Higher Education, Archives and Libraries Department, has been transferred and posted as Private Secretary to the Advisor to the Chief Minister, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Agriculture.
A separate notification under the same number details further postings and transfers. Uswa Jamila (PMS BS-17), Section Officer at the Livestock, Fisheries and Cooperative Department, has been transferred and posted as Section Officer at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat against a vacant post.
Muhammad Tahir Ahsan (PMS BS-17), Section Officer at the Elementary and Secondary Education (E&SE) Department, has also been transferred to the Chief Minister’s Secretariat as Section Officer, replacing Mr Akhlaq Ahmad Ali (PMS BS-17), While Akhlaq Ahmad Ali has been transferred from the Chief Minister’s Secretariat and appointed as Section Officer at the Planning and Development (P&D) Department against the vacant post.
Aziz Ur Rehman (Superintendent BPS-17), Secretary of the District Public Safety Commission in Upper Dir, has been transferred and posted as Section Officer at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat in his own pay and scale against a vacant post.
