ISLAMABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Khan Afridi has departed from KP House in Islamabad for Adiala Jail, accompanied by members of the assembly from the province.

According to official sources, the chief minister will express solidarity with the sisters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan outside Adiala Jail. The move comes amid heightened political activity surrounding the PTI leadership and ongoing legal proceedings at the Rawalpindi facility.

Several KP lawmakers are traveling with the chief minister, underscoring the provincial government’s support for the PTI founder’s family. Security arrangements have been tightened on routes leading to Adiala Jail ahead of the visit.

Adiala Jail has remained a focal point for PTI-related developments, with party leaders and supporters frequently gathering outside the facility. The chief minister’s gesture is being seen as a show of unity with the Khan family during the ongoing political situation.
