A terrible fire has suddenly broken out in the remote mountainous area of Dhada Hara in Swat, which has engulfed a large part of it. According to rescue sources, the causes of the fire are currently unknown, however, the staff of Rescue 1122 and the locals are making every effort to control the fire.

‎As soon as the incident was reported, the Peshawar and Swat control rooms of Rescue 1122 were alerted. Given the seriousness of the situation, rescue teams were immediately dispatched from two different stations:

‎Firefighters and rescue vehicles were immediately dispatched from here to the scene.

‎Rescue personnel have also arrived in large numbers from Kabal Station to deal with the emergency.

‎According to local sources, along with the rescue firefighters, the brave and courageous locals of the area are also actively participating in the firefighting process with their own help.

‎Severe difficulties faced in the operation‎The rescue personnel are facing severe challenges in this mountainous area of Dhada Hara, the main reasons for which are as follows:

‎The area is extremely rocky and consists of steep climbs, where it is impossible for fire tenders (firefighting vehicles) to reach. The rescue personnel are having to carry the equipment up on foot and by traditional methods.

‎Due to the strong winds blowing on the mountain peaks, the flames of the fire are spreading rapidly and the extinguished fire is rekindling.

‎Rescue sources say that despite all the difficulties, the personnel are working tirelessly to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby human settlements and valuable forests. No casualties have been reported so far.
