PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Meteorological Department predicted clear skies and bright sunshine on Saturday, offering residents a bright start to the weekend.

According to the latest data, the region is currently experiencing a comfortable 31°C under fully sunny conditions in the morning. Meteorologists report a light 2 mph breeze moving in from the north, keeping the morning air relatively stable. Humidity is holding at a moderate 36%, with the current UV index sitting at a moderate 6. For those planning outdoor activities today, no rain is in the immediate forecast, as the current precipitation chance stands at a flat 0%.

While the morning hours remain steady, a slight temperature rise is anticipated as the day progresses. The maximum temperature for Saturday is forecast to reach exactly 35°C, while the overnight low will drop down to a cooler 24°C.

As the sun reaches its peak, the UV index is expected to surge to a very high 10, prompting health officials to advise citizens to limit direct sun exposure during peak afternoon hours. Winds are expected to shift slightly by tonight, picking up to 8 mph from the northeast. While daytime conditions remain strictly dry, a nominal 15% chance of light nighttime rain has been noted for the region.
