Provincial Minister for Housing, Dr Amjad Ali, has issued a legal notice to Shakeel Sheikh, a party worker and prominent social media activist, for defaming him.
A statement from Dr Amjad Ali’s social media account indicated that Shakeel Sheikh, who claims to be a PTI worker and a close associate of former Governor Shah Farman, has misused AI technology to spread false allegations against the minister through misleading videos.
Dr Amjad Ali emphasised that political opposition should not involve personal attacks or the dissemination of false propaganda. He has initiated legal actions against these fabricated claims and plans to file a defamation case in court soon, aiming to set a precedent for those who spread lies.
