SWAT: At least two people were killed in a firing between brothers over a property dispute in Allahabad, Charbagh area of Swat.

 According to police, the incident took place in the jurisdiction of Charbagh Police Station in Allahabad. Two brothers, Yaqoob Khan and Rustam Khan, sons of Akram Khan, were killed while one person, Ismatullah, was injured in the firing.

A cross-version FIR was registered at Charbagh Police Station. Taking strict notice of the incident, DPO Swat Muhammad Umar Khan directed SHO Charbagh Nisar Uddin to take action. The SHO, along with his police team, conducted a raid and arrested 5 accused involved in the incident, identified as Sajjad and Meraj, sons of Yaqoob, and Rehmatullah, Yousuf Khan, and Rustam Khan, sons of Akram Khan, all residents of Charbagh. 

According to initial investigation, the tragic incident occurred due to a long-standing property dispute between brothers, where an uncle was killed in firing by his nephew, while another brother was killed by an axe attack by his own brother. Police have started further investigation.

BAJAUR: Meanwhile one person was killed, and another was seriously injured when unidentified armed men opened fire in Yousafabad area within the limits of Khar Police Station in Bajaur district. According to police, the armed assailants opened fire and fled from the scene. The injured were immediately shifted to the hospital for medical treatment.

 Police said that one of the injured succumbed to his injuries while under treatment at the hospital. The deceased has been identified as Ghulam Muhammad son of Amin Jan.The other injured person has been identified as Sahib Khan son of Khan Badshah, who is still under treatment at the hospital. According to police, both the deceased and the injured belonged to the Toofan Shah area of Tehsil Salarzai. A police spokesperson said that an investigation into the incident has been started and efforts are underway to arrest the culprits.
