Pakistan Railways has announced the operation of special trains for passengers in anticipation of Eid-ul-Azha. This initiative aims to alleviate the increasing rush during the Eid celebrations and provide convenient travel options for the public.

According to sources, three special Eid trains will be introduced, each consisting of 7 to 8 coaches, connecting various major cities.

The schedule is as follows: the first special Eid train will depart from Quetta to Karachi on May 23. The second train will leave Karachi for Rawalpindi on May 24, making stops in Multan, Faisalabad, and Sargodha along the way. Finally, the third special train will travel from Karachi to Lahore on May 25.

This effort is designed to ease passenger congestion during Eid and enhance travel convenience. However, it is important to note that Peshawar is not included in the routes for these Eid special trains, meaning there will be no direct trains to or from that city during this period.
