PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police chief on Wednesday transferred three senior police officers of grades 19 and 20, including the deputy inspector general (DIG) security, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
A notification issued from the central police office said that three senior police officers, including DIG Security Division Qasim Ali Khan, have been transferred and assigned new responsibilities.
Mr Qasim Ali Khan has been posted as a regional police officer in Mardan, and Sajjad Khan, who was serving as a regional police officer (RPO) in Bannu, has been transferred and posted as DIG of the security division, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Rabnawaz Khan, who was heading the Mardan police range, has been transferred and given responsibility of the RPO Bannu division.
Earlier this week, the Peshawar High Court (PHC) transferred eleven senior judicial officers.
The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Friday transferred eleven senior judicial officers across the province in a major judicial reshuffle.
According to a notification issued by the PHC, this administrative reshuffle affects several District and Sessions Judges, including those awaiting assignments and those currently serving in specialised courts across the province.
Among the key appointments, Mr Nasrullah Khan Gandapur and Muhammad Naseem, who were both awaiting orders, have been posted as Judge of the Consumer Court and Judge of the Labour Court in Peshawar, respectively.
Similarly, Muhammad Arshad has been appointed as Judge of the Consumer Court in Karak, replacing Ihsanullah Khan Mehsud, who has been repatriated to the Peshawar High Court.
The notification further confirmed the transfer of female judicial officers within the system. Rashida Bano, previously a Member (Judicial) of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Service Tribunal, and Farzina Shaid, Judge of the Labour Court Peshawar, have both been transferred to the High Court. Kalsoom Azam has also been repatriated following her tenure at the Consumer Court in Malakand, with Fazal Sattar moving in to fill her vacancy.
In other significant changes, Zia-ul-Haq has been appointed as Member (Judicial) of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Service Tribunal, while Bakht Alam has been retained as Judge of the Labour Court in D.I. Khan following his promotion.
Additionally, Nusrat Naz, who was awaiting posting, has been appointed as Judge, Special Task (CNS) at Nowshera, with the notification allowing the officer to officially actualise her promotion through this new assignment.
