NORTH WAZIRISTAN: Security Forces eliminated 28 Khawarij (term the state used for militants) as a major operation against terrorists continued in North Waziristan for the third consecutive day.
According to sources, Security forces conducted effective operations around Bobli village, where 28 Khawarij have been sent to hell, 12 bodies of terrorists, and a large quantity of weapons have also been recovered so far.
Sources say that 8 more bodies of terrorists were spotted in difficult terrains through quadcopters.
“During the operation, 2 suspected terrorists have also been arrested along with weapons, and the forces have recovered 11 improvised explosive devices (IEDs) during the search operation and defused them, foiling a major terrorist plan,” Sources asserted.
The Security Forces have cleared the Bobli area of the militants and destroyed their hideouts – underground bunkers.
Sources say the operation against militants in the North Waziristan area is in full swing, and forces have been engaged in destroying key hideouts of the terrorists aimed at eradicating the terrorists’ networks in the region.
The Sanitization operations are still ongoing in the area, and security forces are on high alert in view of any potential threat.
