A significant development has been made in Maulana Sheikh Idrees murder case, as the investigation authorities claiming to have made seven important arrests while taking action.
According to the authorities, the alleged suspects were arrested from the Mardan region, while investigations are ongoing from different angles.
The investigation authorities say that geo-fencing of different areas of Peshawar, Charsadda, and Nowshera is also being done to track the movements and contacts of the suspects.
According to the authorities, a video of an alleged target killer escaping from Charsadda has also emerged, which is being reviewed in detail.
According to sources, the alleged target killer was seen in the CCTV footage on the Chamkani area of Peshawar and Kohat Road. Investigating officials said that the accused had reached Charsadda from Chamkani on a motorcycle through the service road and entered Charsadda at around 5:30 am on the day of the incident.
Authorities say that the Safe City Team and other investigative units are also assisting in the investigation so that all aspects of the incident can be examined in detail.
It should be noted that on May 05, unknown terrorists opened fire in Charsadda and martyred Maulana Sheikh Idrees, after which there was serious concern in the area.
