Security forces termed the Khawarij’s claim of taking over Meena camp and killing a large number of security forces as fake and fabricated, which have no links with reality; however, the attack last night claimed the killing of nine Khawarij and martyrdom of four security personnel.
According to sources, last night, Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists first attacked the Mina camp with explosives and then tried to enter through gate number 02 by opening heavy fire. Security forces, remaining alert, retaliated immediately and vigorously, as a result of which the terrorists were completely unable to enter the camp premises.
According to initial reports, nine terrorists were killed in the exchange of fire, while 4 Pakistan Army soldiers sacrificed their lives while defending the homeland. The injured personnel have been shifted to Peshawar for immediate medical attention. Search and clearance operations are still underway to eliminate the terrorists in the area.
All the news spread by social media and some circles regarding the entry and occupation of the Taliban or terrorists’ camp is completely baseless and fabricated.
Security sources have strongly denied these false news reports and clarified that the terrorists could not even cross the outer wall of the camp, and the forces repelled them, causing heavy casualties.
