QUETTA: At least 33 Fitna-ul-Khawarij militants were killed in an Intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted by security forces in Shahban, Quetta, on May 14, targeting the suspected presence of militants in the area, according to security sources.
During the operation, heavy exchange of fire took place between security personnel and the militants. Officials confirmed that 33 suspected militants were killed in the encounter.
