ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar has revealed that a systematic and poisonous propaganda campaign has been launched against Pakistan from abroad for the past few days, which aims to cast doubt on Pakistan’s sincere efforts for regional peace.
He said that fabricated stories are being spread in this campaign by citing anonymous sources and unverified officials to create confusion at the global level. The Information Minister clarified that Pakistan’s continuous successes against terrorism and its key role in sustainable peace in the region are deeply disturbing to those elements who are enemies of peace.

Attaullah Tarar further said that reputable local media and fact-checking forums have opened the door to this external propaganda and proved that these stories are nothing but lies. He appreciated the role of Pakistani media and social media influencers and said that the way they have exposed this systematic campaign is commendable.
The government and responsible media will work together to thwart these nefarious intentions of the enemy and bring the truth to the international community.
