The decrease in gold price in global and local gold markets continued for the second day, due to which cautious attitude is being seen among investors. Gold per ounce in the international market fell by $4 to $4713.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, 24-carat gold per tola in the local market has become cheaper by Rs400 to reach the level of Rs493,662, while the price of 10 grams of gold was recorded at Rs423,235 after a decrease of Rs34

Similarly, a decline was seen in the price of silver, with silver per tola becoming cheaper by Rs12 to Rs8513. According to experts, fluctuations in the global market and changes in the value of the dollar are putting pressure on the prices of precious metals, the effects of which are also being seen in the local market.
