PESHAWAR (Kamran Ali Shah): The National Accountability Court on Friday extended the physical remand of the owner of a private construction firm by 7 days in the Kohistan Financial Scandal case.
According to details, Khushal Khan, the owner of a private construction company arrested in the Kohistan financial scandal, was re-presented in the accountability court.
The accused was produced before the National Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Hamid Mughal, who granted an additional seven-day remand and handed him over to NAB officials.
According to NAB officials, the accused, Khushal Khan, is the owner of a private construction company and was found to be involved in the Kohistan Financial Scandal.
They said suspicious and illegal transactions worth more than Rs196 million were made through the accused’s bank account.
NAB officials informed the court that the investigation had not yet been completed, and further custody of the accused was required.
On NAB’s request, the court granted an additional seven-day physical remand of the alleged accused and handed him over to NAB officials.
