It is believed that by launching the new crossover car model, Suzuki will be able to establish itself further in the crossover and SUV segments. The experts feel that this will increase competition in the segment.

MG ushers in a new era of Hybrid vehicles in Pakistan
Similarly, MG Motors Pakistan has unveiled its latest addition to its product line-up in the form of the all-new MG HS in two exciting variants called Hybrid Plus and Super Hybrid variants. With this move, MG has taken another step forward in terms of technology and design, establishing itself as an important player in the country’s burgeoning NEV sector.
MG held the unveiling ceremony for the new car at its Lahore plant where the company unveiled two new variants of the vehicle meant to meet the changing demands of eco-conscious customers in the country.
Mr. Xiao, CEO of MG, was present on the occasion and talked enthusiastically about MG’s efforts in offering innovative products to Pakistani consumers. “Our efforts in promoting NEVs began in 2020, and now with our new models like the MG HS, we aim to increase our efforts even further,” he said. The two types of hybrids, namely the Hybrid Plus and the Super Hybrid, are both designed using the most recent generation technology. The former is an old-school hybrid but with a contemporary touch. The latter is the plug-in hybrid that possesses the unique feature of driving up to 135 kilometers only using the battery.
In response to this move, a senior official of SAIC Motors said, “Pakistan remains our most important strategic market. We now see the necessity for electric mobility, fuelled by the rising popularity of solar energy use in the country.”
