WAZIRISTAN: Afghanistan has once again shelled the civilian population of Pakistan in the border areas near Angoor Adda in South Waziristan. A mortar shell fired from Afghanistan landed on the home of local residents Karim Khan and Rahmatullah. As a result of the explosion, five people were injured, including four children ages thirteen, ten, eight, and three, as well as one woman. All the injured individuals were taken to DHQ Hospital in Wana.

The local community has expressed deep sorrow and grief over this act by Afghanistan. It’s important to note that just a few days prior, three people were injured in the same area due to unprovoked gunfire from Afghanistan.

The Afghan Taliban and their affiliated extremist elements have consistently targeted the general public to achieve their malicious goals. In response to these attacks, the Pakistan Army struck the firing positions with both small and large weapons, causing the Afghan Taliban to flee following the retaliatory action.
