PESHAWAR: The Excise and Taxation Office (ETO-II) in Peshawar is conducting a special campaign against property tax defaulters. This initiative is part of the efforts by the Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The campaign focuses on taking legal actions to recover outstanding dues from major tax defaulters.

According to information from the department, operations have been carried out in various areas under the supervision of Tauseef Khan, the Excise and Taxation Officer (ETO-II) for Property Tax in Peshawar, alongside Assistant Excise and Taxation Officers Nasir Mahmood Khan and Zar Ali Khan.

Despite multiple notices being issued, legal action was taken against defaulters who failed to pay their property tax dues, resulting in the sealing of several tax-defaulter units. The Excise and Taxation Department has urged all property owners to pay their tax dues promptly to avoid legal actions, fines, and other complications. The department has said that such enforcement actions will continue in the future to ensure tax compliance and enhance government revenues.
