Flights from Imam Khomeini International Airport in Tehran, the capital of Iran, departed for Medina, Istanbul and Muscat today.
According to Iranian media, the first team of staff and coordinators for Hajj 2026 has left for Saudi Arabia from Iran. Foreign flights will resume at Tehran’s Imam Khomeini Airport from tomorrow.
Flights from Shanghai and Guangzhou are also expected to arrive after the airport resumes air operations. Meanwhile, Qatar Air’s flight from Doha to Tehran for the first time in 55 days has departed.
Flights from Tehran to Dubai, Lahore, Najaf and Muscat are also on the schedule today. According to Iranian media, flight operations will be further intensified in the coming days.
