Lightning struck a religious seminary in the Painda Cheena area of ​​​​Tirah tehsil of Khyber district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, resulting in the injury of 18 female students.

The incident occurred when the weather in the area suddenly changed and lightning struck the madrasa building. The injured female students are said to be between 12 and 16 years old. As soon as the incident was reported, Rescue 1122 teams and Pak army soldiers immediately reached the spot on the special instructions of District Emergency Officer Engineer Shariq Riaz Khattak.

The rescue personnel took timely action and provided first aid to all the female students and shifted them to Dogra Hospital for further treatment. The hospital administration and rescue officials have confirmed that the condition of all the female students is out of danger and they are undergoing treatment in the hospital.

As soon as the news spread, there was a wave of concern in the area, however, after receiving information that the students were safe, parents and the local population breathed a sigh of relief.
