According to the DPO, a special investigation team has been formed under the leadership of SP Investigation Shah Asad Khan to conduct a transparent investigation into the incident. The designated police officers have been detained and their official weapons have also been seized. Police officials say that the weapons have been sent for forensic examination while further investigations are underway.
