Iranian state television is currently reporting the first round of Iran Pakistan talks held in Tehran between Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Field Marshal Asim Munir.
Further discussions are expected as mediators review messages exchanged between Iran and the United States.

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has landed in Tehran and was welcomed by Iran’s foreign minister, Abbas Araghchi.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has arrived in Tehran, Iran, this evening with a delegation. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi is part of the delegation that arrived in Tehran.
The visit of the Field Marshal is being considered part of ongoing talks between the US, Iran, and Pakistan, which is playing a key role as a mediator.
