PESHAWAR (Muhammad Ijaz Afridi) The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has announced a late sitting schedule for preparing the budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2026-27.
According to a notification from the Finance Department, all officers and officials are required to work additional hours according to the specified schedule, which takes effect immediately and will continue until further notice.
Under the new schedule, office hours from Monday to Thursday will be from 9 am to 5 pm. Following this, the first late sitting session will run from 5 pm to 7 pm, with a second session from 7 pm to 9 pm if necessary.
On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, the office hours will remain from 9 am to 5 pm, and there will be no late sitting on these days.
