The Peshawar Education Board’s inquiry committee has confirmed in its final report that the examination paper was leaked from Khushal Model High School Sherkira.
After the report of the modern digital tracking and examination staff, serious negligence and violation of rules by the school administration was proved.
The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar has adopted a zero-tolerance policy on this matter and affiliation of Khushal Model High School Sherkira with the board has been terminated with immediate effect for serious violation of rules.
The school has been fined with Rs 1 million for damaging the transparency of the examination. The school’s registration code has been blocked and a permanent ban has been imposed on it from being used as an examination center in the future.
The chairman of the Peshawar board says that there will be no compromise on examination transparency. He clarified that this action will be an example for other private and government schools. Similar strict legal action will be taken against all such schools found to be involved in interference or corruption in the examination process.
After the school’s affiliation is terminated, consideration is also being given to transferring the students studying there to nearby government or other affiliated schools for board exams in the future so that their academic year is not wasted.
According to a recent update, the board has also issued a letter to the police to register a criminal case against the principal of the concerned school and the responsible examination staff.
