Pakistan Meteorological Department predicted dry weather in most parts of the country; however, light rain and thunderstorms in the upper and western parts of the country are also expected.

Islamabad and Lahore experienced a cool morning with temperatures of 10 and 17 degrees Celsius, respectively. Karachi is hot and humid, with the mercury reaching 26 degrees Celsius, while Murree has recorded a drop of 5 degrees Celsius.

Strong winds and thundershowers are likely in the districts of Swat, Chitral, Mansehra, and Abbottabad of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as well as in the northeastern regions of Balochistan.

Due to the recent rains, roof collapse and landslides have been reported in the areas of Mohmand and Kurram, due to which travelers have been advised to exercise caution on mountain routes. Overall, the temperature in the plains of the country is continuing to gradually increase during the day.

Pakistan is recording slightly more rainfall than usual in April this year, which is the result of a combination of moisture from the Arabian Sea and westerly winds. Farmers have been advised to take these weather changes into account for harvesting and other agricultural activities, as sudden windstorms can damage crops.
