DUBAI: The stage is set for the Asia Cup 2025 final at Dubai International Stadium today (on Sunday), where arch-rivals Pakistan and India will clash in one of the year’s most anticipated encounters.
Excitement is running high as thousands of fans from both nations converge on Dubai, promising a charged atmosphere. Despite recent political tensions, cricket enthusiasm remains undiminished, with supporters scrambling for last-minute tickets. The official portal continues to list seats across multiple categories.
Ticket prices
The cheapest tickets are priced at 350 dirhams (about Rs26,800) for upper-stand seats, while pavilion seats cost 900 dirhams (nearly Rs69,000). Premium hospitality packages range from 1,500 dirhams (Rs115,000) to 11,000 dirhams (around Rs843,000), underscoring the massive demand for the blockbuster final.
Road to the final
Pakistan booked their place with a tense 11-run victory over Bangladesh in the Super Four. Following the match, a fan was seen urging pacer Haris Rauf to ensure India did not “escape” defeat this time, calling for revenge after Pakistan’s earlier struggles.
India’s route to the final was equally dramatic. Their last Super Four clash against Sri Lanka ended in a tie, with Pathum Nissanka’s 107 taking Sri Lanka to 202 in pursuit of 203. The deadlock forced a Super Over, where India chased down the three-run target on the very first ball to seal their spot in the title clash.
With both teams now set to face off, Dubai prepares to host what promises to be a historic and fiercely contested final.
