RAWALPINDI: An ambulance from Holy Family Hospital arrived at Adiala Jail on Sunday to provide eye treatment to the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), according to jail sources.
The ambulance, equipped with specialized ophthalmic equipment, entered the prison premises through Gate No. 5. This development comes amidst ongoing discussions about the medical care of the incarcerated PTI leader.
Security in and around Adiala Jail was heightened ahead of the ambulance’s arrival, with additional personnel deployed to maintain law and order.
Officials have not yet released a statement regarding the specifics or anticipated duration of the medical procedure.
