ISLAMABAD: A special meeting of the Imran Khan Legal Team and the Insaf Lawyers Forum, Islamabad and Rawalpindi, was held under the chairmanship of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Khan Afridi.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister expressed deep concern over Imran Khan’s health and stressed that timely and quality medical care must be ensured at all costs. He said any negligence regarding his health would be unacceptable.
Chief Minister Sohail Khan Afridi emphasised that the presence of lawyers in the cases currently under hearing against PTI Chairman Imran Khan is extremely important. He stated that for the effective prosecution of these cases, lawyers must be present in court during hearings.
The Chief Minister appealed to lawyers affiliated with Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf to ensure their attendance at the Islamabad High Court and other relevant courts to avoid any gaps in the provision of legal assistance.
