PESHAWAR: The Meteorological Department has forecast dry and cold weather across most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

According to the Met Office, most districts in the province are expected to remain dry, with temperatures anticipated to drop further in hilly areas.

Weather experts predict that cold conditions will intensify in mountainous regions, including Chitral, Dir, Malam Jabba, and Abbottabad, where dry weather will persist.

Additionally, cold weather is expected to prevail in Peshawar, Bannu, and Dera Ismail Khan.

Partly cloudy and cold weather is expected in most districts of the province, while very cold/partly cloudy in Upper districts.

The temperature forecast indicates that the minimum temperature in Chitral is expected to be 0°C, Dir is expected to be -3°C, while Malam Jabba is 0°C. In the plains, temperatures are expected to drop to 6 °C in Peshawar, 8°C in Bannu, 10°C in Dera Ismail Khan, and 4°C in Abbottabad.
