In the new ICC T20 rankings, the positions of players from teams of other countries, including Pakistan, have also changed.
The new rankings of the ICC T20 format have been released. India’s Abhishek Sharma retains the first position in the T20 batsmen’s rankings, while England’s Phil Salt and Jos Buttler have moved up one place each and now both players are in second and third place respectively. Pakistan’s Babar Azam has dropped second places to 26th and Mohammad Rizwan has dropped fifth places to 33rd. National team’s Sahibzada Farhan has jumped 18 places to 56th. Pakistan’s Saim Ayub has also dropped five points to 46th, while Hassan Nawaz has dropped from 12 places to 47th.
On the other hand, India’s Varun Chakraborty has become the number one bowler among T20 bowlers. He has snatched the first position from New Zealand’s Jacob Duffy after moving up 3 places and Jacob Duffy has now moved to second position. Pakistan’s Sufyan Muqeem has jumped four places to 11th and Abrar Ahmed has jumped from 11 places to 16th. India’s Hardik Pandya retains his first position in the T20 all-rounder rankings.
