MANSEHRA: At least four tourists died, and another one was injured after a car travelling from Mansehra to Naran plunged into a deep ravine on Sunday.
According to rescue officials, the tourists who were involved in the accident were from Sialkot. As soon as the accident happened, rescue officials reached the spot, and with the help of locals, they pulled out the bodies and the injured from the ditch.
Officials said that two women are among the deceased. According to Rescue 1122, the victims were residents of Sialkot who were travelling to the popular tourist destination when the accident occurred.
They said that one injured person has been rescued and provided with emergency medical assistance. Preliminary investigations indicate that the accident was caused by excessive speed. Authorities are continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
