Lawyers and family members are expected to meet the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) imprisoned in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail on Tuesday.
According to party sources, a list of six lawyer leaders has been sent to the jail authorities for the meeting. The list includes the names of PTI Chairman Barrister Gauhar Khan and Secretary General Salman Akram Raja, who will reach the jail along with other lawyers to meet the founder PTI.
In addition, Faisal Malik, Chaudhry Owais Younis, Khalid Yousuf Chaudhry and lawyer Fatehullah Burki will also be present for the meeting.According to party sources, the lawyer leaders will seek guidance from the founder PTI regarding party affairs, ongoing legal matters and future strategy.
On the other hand, the sisters of the founder of PTI and members of the family of Bushra Bibi will also reach Adiala Jail today for a meeting. The jail authorities have completed security and administrative preparations for the meeting and the meeting will be held as per the prescribed procedures.
