ISLAMABAD: Under the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP), deserving families receive financial assistance in four quarterly installments each year. The annual cash support of Rs. 54,000 is disbursed in four payments of Rs. 13,500 each.
So far, three installments have been paid to registered families, and the latest update regarding the fourth and final installment for 2025 has now been announced.
The release of the last quarterly payment of Rs. 13,500 for the third quarter of October to December 2025 will begin in October. The installments will be made district-wise at different times for different districts.
Beneficiaries can check their Rs. 13,500 installment by sending their 13-digit CNIC to the code 8171. They will receive an instant reply showing their payment status.
The BISP was launched in 2008 to facilitate financial empowerment for women and relief to poor families in the entire country of Pakistan. According to the latest figures, nearly 10 million needy families are given financial support under the scheme across the country.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif formally opened this year the facility of digital wallets and SIM cards under the BISP. Under this digital transition, the payments are transferred directly into the digital wallets of the beneficiaries, with the credit automatically appearing after transfer in the balance.
