SWABI: A 16-year-old boy from Parmoli village in Razar Tehsil, Swabi, was among seven laborers killed by unidentified gunmen in Turbat, Balochistan, on July 27, local sources and media reports said.

The victim has been identified as Yahya, son of Noroz Khan. According to sources, Yahya had been working in Turbat for several months to earn a living. Police and local sources said that on the evening of July 27, armed men targeted seven labourers.

According to information attributed to Balochistan local sources, media reports, and investigative agencies, the bodies of the six abducted laborers were recovered the next day from Turbat.

Among the deceased, four labourers belonged to Punjab, while two were from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, one from Swabi and one from Buner. The Swabi victim was 16-year-old Yahya from Parmoli. The incident has plunged Parmoli and the wider Swabi area into grief.

Residents expressed sorrow and demanded justice for the victims and protection for KP labourers working in other provinces. May Allah Almighty grant forgiveness to all the deceased, grant them the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous, and give patience to the bereaved families. Authorities said an investigation into the attack is underway.
