NORTH WAZIRISTAN: A social activist from North Waziristan has allegedly been kidnapped by unknown armed men, according to local sources.
Zafran Wazir, a resident of Shewah tehsil, reportedly went missing after armed individuals picked him up from his area while he was engaged in routine activities. Eyewitnesses claimed that the men forcibly took him away, and his whereabouts remain unknown since the incident.
Zafran Wazir had recently gained attention on social media after sharing a video of a young girl, Aina Wazir, playing cricket with boys in her village. The clip quickly went viral, drawing widespread appreciation from across the country for the girl’s confidence and sporting talent.
The video was widely shared and praised by social media users, who lauded Aina Wazir’s skills and described her as a symbol of emerging talent from remote areas. However, some local circles had reportedly expressed reservations over the video.
