SWABI: Two women were killed in a shooting inside a house in Topi tehsil of Swabi district, allegedly following a dispute over the making of a TikTok video.
According to sources, the incident occurred in Liran Union Council in the Gadoon area. A man allegedly became enraged after his nephew made a TikTok video and opened fire inside the house.
The nephew reportedly escaped unharmed, but the suspect’s own sister and niece were struck by bullets and died at the scene.
The incident triggered panic in the area, while the alleged shooter fled the scene after the attack.
NCCIA Arrests TikToker Over Alleged Anti-State Statements
Earlier, the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has arrested a well-known TikToker in Islamabad over alleged anti-state statements.
According to media reports, TikToker Syed Ali Zain Bukhari was taken into custody by the NCCIA Islamabad in connection with allegations of making statements deemed anti-state.
The sources said that the agency also seized Bukhari’s mobile phone for investigation.
Further questioning of the TikToker is currently underway as authorities investigate the allegations and the material allegedly linked to the case.
