PESHAWAR: At least two people suffered burn injuries when a gas cylinder exploded in a house in the Defence Colony, the outskirts of Peshawar city, on Thursday morning.
According to the Rescue 1122, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa spokesperson, Bilal Ahmad Faizi, the incident occurred in Peshawar city’s Defence Colony, where two people sustained injuries.
He said two people received burn injuries in the incident and had been shifted to the hospital after being provided with immediate medical assistance by the Rescue 1122 team.
“The incident is a result of a gas cylinder explosion that also damaged the house, as a massive fire erupted after the cylinder exploded,” the Rescue 1122 spokesperson said, and added that the blaze had been brought under control in a swift operation, and further damage was prevented.
