BANNU: Two brothers were killed and three others injured in a firing incident in the Shahbaz Shah Sheikhan area of Bannu.
According to details, the deceased were identified as Aftab Ali and Syed Ahmed Khan, sons of Nek Dar Ali, who died on the spot.
Their third brother, Mirza Ali Shah, was critically injured in the incident. Other injured persons include Waris Khan and a tractor driver, Shariyar son of Qamar Ali, a resident of Chak Dadan.
Rescue teams reached the scene shortly after the incident, providing first aid to the injured before shifting all victims, including the deceased, to the District Headquarters Hospital Bannu.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident to determine the motive and apprehend those responsible.

At least five people were killed, and three others sustained critical injuries when a traffic accident took place on DI Khan road in Bannu.
According to the Rescue 1122, Bannu spokesperson, a traffic incident has claimed the lives of five people, including children and three others were injured in the fatal incident.
As soon as the information about the accident was received, rescue officials reached the spot and started rescue operations, and the bodies of the deceased and the injured were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital.
