RAWALPINDI: The hearing of the Toshakhana-II case against former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi is expected to be held at the Adiala Jail today Saturday.
Sources said that the court staff has informed Salman Safdar, the lawyer of the PTI founder. The last hearing of the Toshakhana-II case was held on October 16 at Adiala Jail. After October 16, the hearing of the case has been adjourned three times.

Sources further said that in the Toshakhana-II case, the recording of evidence, the statements of the accused under Section 342, and the final arguments have been completed. After the prosecution submits its rebuttal, there is a possibility that the verdict will be reserved.

Toshakhana cases refer to legal proceedings against former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his spouse, Bushra Bibi, concerning the alleged misuse, undervaluation, and non-disclosure of state gifts.
This case originated from a reference filed by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in 2022.
It was alleged that Imran Khan failed to disclose the details of gifts received from foreign dignitaries and the proceeds from their sale in his annual asset declarations.
Under Pakistani law, all gifts received by public officials must be reported. Officials can retain gifts by paying a certain percentage of their value (increased from 20% to 50% during Khan’s tenure), but any sale of these items must be declared as income.
In August 2023, a trial court sentenced him to three years in prison. This sentence was later suspended by the Islamabad High Court (IHC), though the conviction itself remained a subject of appeal.

Toshakhana Case 2 case involves a jewelry set (including a Graff watch, necklace, and ring received from the Saudi Crown Prince. It is alleged that the couple retained these items at a price significantly lower than their actual market value through a “deliberate and coordinated effort” with a private appraiser to undervalue them.
