Peshawar Police neutralized three heavily wanted members of the notorious Nauray Gang during an exchange of fire near the Akhun Baba Graveyard following a targeted operation.

The slain suspects had a long history of violent crime and were prime targets for law enforcement. They were heavily sought after in connection with a brutal attack recorded under FIR No. 392 on April 29, 2025, at Jamil Chowk, where a vehicle was ambushed in indiscriminate firing, leaving six people dead. Furthermore, they were wanted proclaimed offenders in another major case, FIR No. 530, registered on April 1, 2026, at the Phandu Road Police Station.

Intelligence reports indicated that the dangerous outlaws were gathered, fully armed, near the Akhun Baba Graveyard to plot and execute a major criminal act. In response, a police party staked out the location and cornered the suspects. Upon spotting the police approaching, the outlaws immediately opened fire on the law enforcement personnel.

During the ensuing crossfire, all three criminals were killed. They were identified as Garan Wali, son of Sher Ali, and Ali Khan alias Sheena, son of Dawan Jan, both residents of Afghanistan, alongside Zabihullah, son of Qadeem Khan, a resident of Mohmand Berry Bagh.

Law enforcement recovered a Kalashnikov rifle and two pistols from the possession of the deceased men. Police are actively checking their wider criminal records and expanding the investigation to uncover any remaining associates tied to the gang.
