BARA: Three persons killed and one injured when a tragic incident took place in Malik Din Khel area of Bara tehsil of Khyber District after their own hand grenade detonated among the people sitting in a hut.
According to the police, the incident took place when a hand grenade belonging to a person in the hut suddenly exploded, resulting in a loud explosion. After the explosion, locals reached the spot and immediately shifted the injured to a nearby hospital.
Upon receiving the information, the police and security forces cordoned off the area and have started further investigation after collecting evidence. According to initial reports, all the people who died in the incident were local residents.
Police officials said that the bomb disposal squad has been called in to determine the nature of the explosion and possible causes.
