BANNU (Salman Ali Khan): A group of militants of Fitna al Khawarij has taken away three brothers at Gunpoint from the mosque during Isha Prayers in the Sokari Hassan Khel of Bannu on Wednesday.
According to sources, three persons, reportedly brothers, were kidnapped at gunpoint by 10 to 12 armed men from the Faqir Mosque area of Sokari Hassan Khel within the jurisdiction of Cantt Police Station on Thursday night.
According to police sources, the incident occurred during Isha prayers when the assailants stormed the mosque and forcibly took the three men away to an undisclosed location.
The abductees have been identified as Saeed Akhtar, an employee of the Commissioner’s Office, Police Constable Amjad, and Constable Hazratullah.
Security forces and local police have launched a search operation in the area, while further investigation into the incident is underway.
No group has claimed responsibility for the kidnapping so far.
