PESHAWAR: Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry Criticized Pakistan Tahreek-i-Insaf after Peshawar rally, saying the party Peshawar rally exposed its lack of governance in province.

Speaking to reporters, Talal Chaudhry said the public had witnessed PTI’s real performance at the rally, where no developmental initiatives or policy matters were discussed.

The gathering offered nothing beyond accusations and complaints, he remarked.

He said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa continued to grapple with terrorism and multiple governance challenges, yet PTI’s top leadership failed to address any of them.

Taking aim at the party’s founder, Talal Chaudhry alleged that those who rose to power on borrowed support were now maligning state institutions.

He questioned PTI that, the PTI founder had never spoken for the country’s martyrs, nor taken a clear stance against India or Israel?, while frequently resorting to accusations against national institutions.

The minister said PTI’s continued targeting of state organs could not be ignored indefinitely.

He expressed regret that the government had ever offered the party an opportunity for dialogue, adding that its leadership had never respected women and had failed to raise its voice for education.

Calling the PTI founder unfit for national leadership, Mr Chaudhry alleged that his political career was marred by scandals and claimed PTI figures were becoming a threat even to fellow inmates at Adiala Jail.

Those who cannot win from Haripur cannot expect to compete in Lahore or Faisalabad, he said.

Talal Chaudhry concluded that PTI’s politics of confrontation had become detrimental to the country and that the public had now seen its true face.
