PESHAWAR:  The students of Peshawar University and its affiliated educational institutions arranged a day session with the Pakistan Army, which was aimed at making the students aware of the professional capabilities of the Pakistan Army and its role in the defence of the country.

Highlighting the importance and usefulness of this day, the students witnessed the sacrifices and hard work of the Pakistan Army in an in-depth manner and participated in various activities related to it.

The special day began with the laying of wreaths and the reciting of Fateha at the Martyrs’ Memorial in Peshawar. The students paid tribute to the martyrs of their country and remembered their sacrifices. On this occasion, all the students prayed together for the high ranks of the martyrs.

This day aimed to make the students aware of the professional responsibilities of the Pakistan Army. The students were given a detailed briefing about the various branches of the Pakistan Army and their work. Army officers and experts made the students aware of their responsibilities, war strategies, and the importance of the army for the security of the country.

Corps Commander Peshawar, Lieutenant General Umar Ahmed Bukhari, highly appreciated the interest of the students and gave detailed answers to their questions. He told the students that the Pakistan Army is not only protecting the country’s borders but is also active in restoring internal peace and order. During this, the students asked questions on military strategies, the war on terrorism, and the country’s defense measures, which the Corps Commander answered with great clarity.

The students also inspected the latest helicopters, aircraft, communication equipment, and weapons of the Pakistan Army. After observing these modern technologies, the students learned more about the modernization of the army and its war preparedness. On this occasion, military officers briefed the students about the importance of this equipment and their use in detail.

This day was not only educationally important for the students but also enhanced their national spirit and respect, and love for the army. The organization of this day was an important step to highlight the professionalism of the Pakistan Army and the spirit of serving the country. Such activities with the students increase their awareness regarding national defense and motivate them to work harder and more determinedly for the security of their homeland.
