ISLAMABAD (Sheraz Ahmad Sherazi): In a significant administrative move, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi has ordered the immediate replacement of all officers and staff at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) House in Islamabad.
This decision follows the earlier removal and transfer of 153 police and Special Branch personnel who were previously assigned to the KP House.
The Chief Minister cited security and confidentiality concerns as the main reasons for these sweeping changes. Sources indicate that he expressed frustration over important government information and news leaking from the KP House, which led to the removal of receptionists, telephone operators, and other administrative employees.
It is alleged that some of the dismissed staff were supportive of former Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and maintained contact with him, which reportedly compromised the integrity of the KP House’s operations.
The reshuffling also resulted in the dismissal of KP House Comptroller Muhammad Tufail, along with several housekeepers, marking a broader shake-up in the administration of the facility.
