CALIFORNIA: The leading music app Spotify has introduced a new chat feature based on artificial intelligence for premium users, through which users will be able to search for music, audiobooks and podcasts by interacting with the app.

According to details, this new feature is different from traditional voice commands, as users will be able to have a two-way conversation with Spotify, users will be able to write or speak their requests, on which the app will suggest songs, introduce new artists, improve playlists and provide information about the background of a song or album.

According to Spotify, this feature has been developed by combining the company’s own artificial intelligence technology and artificial intelligence models from various partner institutions. Through the new feature, users will be able to discover music according to their preferences, they will also be able to request faster or new music, songs by artists they have never heard before and specific artists to be included in their recommendations.

The AI-powered chat feature will also help users save songs, add them to playlists and follow artists. Spotify says the feature is not limited to music recommendations but will also allow users to ask questions about their listening habits, such as when they first heard a song, review recent music trends or learn about their favorite genres.
