SOUTH WAZIRISTAN (Noor Ali Wazir): Four people were killed and two seriously injured in a violent clash between two factions over a long-standing land dispute in the Gul Kach area, under the jurisdiction of the Tui Khula police station in Lower South Waziristan.
Sources indicate that all the deceased belong to the Suleman Khel tribe. Following the incident, the injured were transported to a nearby hospital for initial treatment. However, due to their critical condition, they have since been referred to Wana Hospital for further care.
Residents have expressed deep concern regarding the police’s failure to take timely and appropriate measures to prevent the clash. In response, the local police maintain that they acted promptly as soon as the incident was reported.
Police officials state that a thorough investigation is underway, examining all aspects of the situation, and that strict legal action will be pursued against those involved.
