KOHAT: According to the district police officer, at least six terrorists were killed in a gunfight with the police in the Lachi area of Kohat.
According to DPO Kohat, Shahbaz Elahi, the police and CTD (Counter Terrorism Department) acted on intelligence about the presence of terrorists in the Lachi vicinity. When the police forces arrived at the location, the terrorists opened fire, leading to a confrontation.
DPO Elahi stated that a large quantity of weapons was recovered from the slain terrorists. The area has been cordoned off, and a search operation is currently underway.

At least 22 more terrorists were killed as decisive operations are underway against the terrorists of “Fitna-ul-Hindustan” by security forces, in different areas of Balochistan.
According to security sources, 22 more terrorists were killed during the follow-up operations conducted last night, after which the total number of terrorists killed in the last three days has reached 177.
Based on intelligence information, the security forces not only foiled terrorist attacks at 12 different places, including Quetta, Mastung, Nushki, Dalbandin, Kharan, and Gwadar, but also retaliated vigorously and destroyed their hideouts. Sources say that the terrorists killed include three suicide bombers who wanted to target important installations and public places.
