SHANGLA (Sohail Hassan Khan): At least six people were injured when a motor car fell into a gorge in the Board area of Alpuri tehsil here on Friday. Rescue 1122 spokesperson said.
The Rescue 1122 spokesperson, Rasool Khan Sharif, said that the motor car was coming from Swat when it plunged into a gorge in the Board area, resulting in injury to six people.
He said the accident apparently occurred due to a slippery road owing to continued heavy rainfall and loss of control over the steering.
Rescue 1122 spokesperson said that their team responded quickly after receiving a call from the spot and provided first aid to the injured and moved them to the district headquarters hospital in Alpuri.
The wounded identified as Inam Khan, Sajidullah, Sanaullah, Habibullah, Zakaria Khan and Hafizullah, residents of Upper Dir.
