In a new phase of tension on the Pak-Afghan border, the Pakistan Army has carried out a major operation against the Afghan Taliban and ‘Fitna al-Khawarij’ (TTP) in Bajaur sector under Operation ‘Ghadhab Lal Haq’ and targeted several posts with guided missiles.
According to security sources, in this counter-operation carried out on Monday, enemy defense installations were targeted while giving a befitting reply to the unprovoked firing from across the border.
Security sources say that the Pakistan Army carried out effective attacks on important check posts of the Afghan Taliban adjacent to the Pak-Afghan border in Bajaur sector, as a result of which several posts were completely destroyed.
The Pakistan Army has targeted military installations across the border with precision, causing heavy casualties and material losses to the enemy with guided missiles. This operation was not limited to the Afghan Taliban but also targeted the bases of ‘Fitna al-Khawarij’ (the outlawed TTP) across the border from where they plan terrorism inside Pakistan.
Sources say that “there will be no compromise on Pakistan’s territorial integrity and every attack will be responded to with double severity.” Operation ‘Ghadab l-Haqq’ will continue until cross-border terrorism is completely eradicated.
This latest operation is part of a wider conflict that began in February 2026, in which Pakistan has launched air and ground attacks inside Afghanistan in response to cross-border terrorist attacks.
According to defense experts, the use of guided missiles in the Bajaur sector is an indication that the Pakistan Army is now determined to use the most advanced and deadly technology to respond to any aggression.
